About IACN

The Illinois Association of Colleges of Nursing (IACN) is the Illinois voice of academic nursing and the Illinois constituency of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing. IACN strives to advance excellence in baccalaureate and graduate nursing education in service to the public.

It is IACN’s strong belief that the best opportunities are provided when Illinois’ universities, colleges, community colleges, and healthcare organizations work together to forge strategic partnerships for the benefit of our students. Through collaboration, we can rise to meet the challenges facing healthcare and prepare nurse-leaders who work to improve health outcomes in their communities.
